Day 10 of 28: Ruidoso, NM—Roswell, NM

102 Miles—6:30 in the saddle—4,300 feet of climbing

A beautiful ride today—climbing out of Ruidoso, rolling hills, and smooth downhills with almost no traffic as we left the high desert. I enjoyed riding with the Vermont guys again, Jacki, Billy, and even Lon Haldeman, owner of PAC Tour and winner of the first Ride Across America in 1982—a true legend—who rode a few segments with us.

The best news: together we’ve raised $22,000 for Marion Medical Mission and Kids’ Chance thus far! Thank you for your support, messages, prayers, and encouragement—they mean a lot and keep me going.

Tomorrow we ride to Clovis, NM, about 110 miles and less climbing as previous rides. The weather is looking good as well—we have been blessed with good weather thus far for sure.

Enjoy and goodnight!
