Day 11 of 28: Roswell, NM to Clovis, NM

112 miles, 6½ hours in the saddle, 2,053 feet of climbing.

A ride good for the soul! Most of it solo—music playing in my ears because of lack of traffic for a few sections, even practiced some deep breathing with the clean air, new scenery, and the joy of a tailwind!! Lunch was unrushed because we cannot get into our motel rooms until 3 pm. Massage up next. Days like this are the ones you dream of while preparing for a long ride like this.
