Day 20 of 28: Monticello, AR to Indianola, MS

106 miles, 6:14 in the saddle, just 892 feet of climbing.

Another beautiful day of riding and a huge milestone—crossing the Mississippi River! Only 8 days and about 800 miles to go.

I rode with Bill, Bob, Howard, and Fred all day, with Jose until lunch and Jacki until the final stretch. Great teamwork made the miles fly by. Just finished yoga, waiting on a massage, and thankful to Lon and Susan for bringing dinner in since options are slim nearby.

Highlight: two fellow riders—one I’ve never ridden with because he’s so fast—told me that they made donations—that really lifted my spirits—thank you and blessings!!
